PickleWave ("we", "us", or "our") provides professional pickleball analytics, scoring information, and related services through our website and mobile applications (collectively, the "Service"). The Service displays publicly available or licensed sports information such as player names, match schedules, scores, and results. This factual sports data is not personal data about you and is not linked to your account as personal information.

1.6 Payment and Billing Information

If you subscribe to a paid plan, we collect billing-related information such as your subscription plan, billing cycle, and payment history. Payment card details (e.g., credit card numbers) are processed directly by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc., and are not stored on our servers. We receive only limited payment data from Stripe, such as the last four digits of your card, card type, expiration date, and billing address, as needed for account management and billing support.

Advertising and tracking technologies are only used on the PickleWave website and are not active within the PickleWave mobile applications.

5.5 Payment Processor (Stripe)

We use Stripe, Inc. ("Stripe") as our third-party payment processor to handle subscription billing and payment transactions. When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and is governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy, available at https://stripe.com/privacy. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

Stripe may collect and process personal information such as your name, email address, billing address, payment card information, and transaction data in order to process payments, prevent fraud, and comply with applicable laws. Stripe is certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 Service Provider, the highest level of payment security certification available.

By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy practices. PickleWave uses Stripe to manage:

  • Subscription creation, renewal, and cancellation
  • Payment authorization and processing
  • Invoicing and billing history
  • Refunds and payment disputes

6. Analytics

We use third-party analytics tools to help us understand how users interact with the Service, measure performance, and improve our features. These tools may collect information such as pages visited, time spent on the Service, referring URLs, browser type, and device information.

This website uses the services of Ezoic Inc. ("Ezoic"), including to manage third-party interest-based advertising. Ezoic may employ a variety of technologies on this website, including tools to serve content, display advertisements and enable advertising to visitors of this website, which may utilize first and third-party cookies.

First-party cookies are created by the site you are visiting, while third-party cookies are set by domains other than the one you're visiting. Currently, there is no standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted. As a result, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or mechanisms. We will continue to monitor developments around DNT browser technology and the implementation of a standard.

We may process and store information in countries outside of your country of residence, which may have different data protection laws. Where required by law, we will implement appropriate safeguards to protect your personal information when it is transferred internationally, such as standard contractual clauses approved by relevant authorities.
